City Links are an organisation promoting partnership between church and police. Church and Community has ideas for helping churches engage better with the wider community. Many of the national denominations have workers who specialise in helping churches within reaching out.

A CNI project may well meet some of your Local Area Agreement - this is a partnership document looking at what and how services can be delivered in your Borough. The Compact is also in place as an agreement between local Government and the voluntary / community sector to improve the relationship for mutual advantage and community gain and may well help you in your talks with the Council, Police, NHS, etc.
