More about the CNI network...
CNI Network is an organisation here to help you, whether you are a Street Angels project, a night café to the homeless, even Chaplaincy to a lap dancing club – any project working within the night time economy (5.00pm – 6.00am as defined by Association of Town Centre Management) .
Our aim is to support the exciting work done by fantastic volunteers week by week which goes on up and down the country to forward the mission to God to those often missed from our church radar.
CNI Network was launched in July 2008 and has:
CNI is an umbrella organisation for projects which are all locally driven and helps provide the bigger and more strategic picture for local projects to link into.
CNI is here to help you! We can…
CNI has also helped develop loveyourstreets.org.uk and wehelpedu.org.uk which are helping initiatives across the country engage with their communities more strategically and has a TV series makingthedifference.tv which is showcasing the amazing things happening at a local level.
Why not join us? We are now looking to expand the network to new and established projects. Membership to CNI is free, but we do ask for donations to cover our work - become part of CNI below.... You will then be taken to the CAF Giving Online page to make a donation...

The vision and aims of CNI are:
- To help individual projects be part of the bigger picture of what God is doing within the night-time economy
- To help facilitate a network to share ideas, prayer, news, concerns and to help build support for one another across the wide range of projects.
- To offer help and assistance to towns and cities wanting to start Street Angels, or similar, project – there are resources freely available on-line with Paul (based in Halifax) and Adam (based in Bedford) acting as contacts for new towns and cities.
- To promote the range and impact of Christian based initiatives – this is done through web sites, Facebook, and monthly newsletters and more formally through discussion and involvement with agencies such as Home Office, National Police, church structures, etc.
- To help establish local, regional and national links with one another, as we believe where there is unity God commands his blessing!
It is exciting to see what God has done over the last few years in terms of mobilising his people to serve others within the night-time economy of over sixty towns and cities across the UK. Whilst it is right each project remains independent it is good to be linked to a Network of similar projects and we hope to see every Street Angel, Town Pastor, NightLight, Street Chaplains, Street Ministers, etc become part of CNI and show a strong unity to one another…
Street Angels - Christian Nightlife Initiatives is affiliated to the Faithworks movement - see here.
