Prayer is vital to any project! Encourage local churches to pray for you at the times your initiative operates - even if people can't join you on the streets they can pray for you from bed! A regular newsletter or prayer letter / email will remind people of your project!

The CNI Newsletter which is sent to around 2,500 people each month has space to include prayer needs for your project - email Paul by the 20th of the previous month to be included.  

Your local project is ideally placed to start local prayer initiatives for Police, Council, needs in your area, NHS, Town Centre Management, etc and is a good way to show the faith aspect of your work by letting people know a prayer meeting is happening for them! Redeeming our Communities has several models of engaging with outside agencies including inviting Police to prayer gatherings to pray publically for them. Halifax Street Angels have organised prayer nights in Halifax Town Hall and invited key people within the Council and Police to speak about local needs to Borough-wide prayer events.   

CNI has developed a prayer and event calendar to promote country wide prayer for the night-time economy. Your input to this is welcomed and valued - email Adam and he will add any prayer / events.

Street Pastors have developed a 3 Levels of Prayer document that is very good.
